Hello. I am David Neely. Welcome to my website.

Beginning in Fall 2023 I will be Doctoral Lecturer in the Philosophy Department at Baruch College CUNY. I teach classes on critical thinking, computer ethics, philosophy of language, and cognitive science. I previously taught at Brooklyn College and John Jay College.

I received my PhD from the CUNY Graduate Center in September 2022. My research lies at the intersection of cognitive science and the philosophy of language. I bring empirical data to bear on more traditional debates within the philosophy of language and linguistics.
